Bridesmaids

A loser singleton is asked by lifelong pal to be maid of honour at her upcoming wedding, so musters a motley crew of bridesmaids.
A gem-like cluster of comedic actresses spike the whole thing with outrageous humour. A sharply written, game-changing comedy, it delivers more laughs than any movie released this year, but also, the longer it goes on, develops into a surprisingly poignant evocation of self-scuppering loneliness.
“Hilarious and heartfelt.”
Director: Paul Feig
Stars: Kristen Wiig, Rose Byrne, and Maya Rudoplh

A heartfelt and inspiring film about a remarkable woman (superbly played by Emily Watson) who exposes the scandal of the mass deportation of British children to Australia.
The film is an intense journey from the discovery of injustice and suffering to a cathartic resolution and fulfilment that will linger in the memory for a long time.
